Emily Chidalek is an award-winning costume designer and technician located in South Bend, Indiana. Emily has freelanced with local semi-professional theater companies such as South Bend Lyric Opera, Art 4 South Bend, and Ensemble Chattanooga. She has also worked at the collegiate level for Indiana University South Bend, Notre Dame (Music and FTT), Western Michigan University, and Chattanooga College. Additionally, Emily has been the resident costume designer and technician at Culver Academies since 2018. 

Emily eared a masters degree in Clinical Counseling, and a BA in Theatre Performance, both from IU South Bend. 

Emily honors performer consent in fittings, affirms gender representation, and respects diverse bodies and culturally-significant needs.
